PODCAST

 Hi everyone,

This week my task was to make a podcast. It was a different experience because I have never tried creating a podcast before.  I was initially confused because I could not decide what or how should I talk to make my podcast more appropriate and interesting. It was difficult to gather my thoughts because I was thinking of so many ideas and I had only 60 seconds to talk. We were given four options for our podcast and I choose to share my own ideas about how to improve the world. I used PodOmatic as my tool. Initially, I could not figure out how to use it and record my voice so I tried to learn about it. After I prepared my speech, I started to record my voice. Even if it was a short time I really felt anxious about it because I was constantly thinking about how my voice sounded and whether the tone of my voice or my pronunciation is right. When I attempted my first record, I was not confident but after some other attempts, I could complete the task. 

To be honest, I could not have fun during this experiment but I am glad that I tried and learned a new thing. In the future, I can rarely use podcasts to help my students' learning process if the context is proper. I think that using more visual tools is better in the teaching process.
